I am an associate professor of physics at TCNJ.  My research specialization is physics education research, especially in the study of student reasoning, students’ perception of physics careers, and in issues of equity and diversity in physics.  My teaching interests focus on introductory-level physics for both physics majors and the general population, as well as the training of future science teachers.  I use modern, research-validated teaching methods to build an engaging classroom environment that focuses on active-learning techniques.
